What's old is new, what's new is old. Homeschooling has become old hat to us. It's just the way we are. So, yesterday, on Labor Day, when everyone else had the day off, we started the new school year. Yup. Why wait til Tuesday what we can accomplish just as easily (or not) on Monday. And then we can take Friday off, when everyone else is IN SCHOOL. That's just typical around here.
And it was a LONG day. So, long days belong on Mondays, whether the rest of the world has declared a holiday or not. And today, not so long. And that's just how it goes.
Doesn't he look miserable? And today, can't even get them to pose at all. No, no, too busy on projects up in the dark recesses of the cave. Until the kids get home from school, that is.
