Gettin Better All The Time

Hey, hey, it's Week 5 now? I can't keep up. Whatever, it's still go time!

Results:
1. New workout is working out just fine. In fact, I'm quite sore, having worked some muscles that had been sneaking around by the bench, just relaxing. Well, no more!

2. Salad, salad, and more salad. I think it's officially a habit. Oh, and the extra fruit with breakfast is quite scrumptious! Even the boys looked on, interested, as I plopped a handful of fresh blueberries on top of my Coco Puffs (oh yes, blueberries and chocolate in the morning, good for you in so many ways!).

But, alas, we have decided to skip the lobster this year. It's the butter, really. There are more diets in this vacationing household than people, I think! And the bookstore, oh the illusive bookstore ... right smack dab in the middle of the most traffic congested downtown area. At least I think it is, since I haven't had the pleasure of finding a parking place so I can get out and hoof it. Today, I try again, earlier this time. Maybe if I get there before the lunch crowd ... just maybe there will be a space left.

Must get on with it, get in another power walk and weights before breakfast. Oh, but I need new goals for this week, don't I ... hmmm.

Goals:
1. Try a new recipe. A healthy recipe, maybe a sparkpeople one. They seem to have some good ones. Oh, make it a dinner/lunch recipe, not snack. I've already got that cake in a mug, not to be replaced anytime soon. (Chocolate cake + coffee mug = True Bliss)

2. Squeeze Yoga back into my life. It was good once, it can be good again.

Reward: There's some real nice jewelry at a gift shop I've got my eye on. I may have to reward myself early, before we head home. Maybe I'll have it wrapped, so I can open my reward once I've earned it.

Well, off to the beach! (No, it is not sunny and 80 degrees, do not be jealous ... it is cloudy and 70)

Sounds like you're doing great! I'm eating less and walking more at least. Losing a couple of pounds a week. Getting ready to shave my head and get really serious!
